Pair Sterling Silver Silver Round Footed Master Salts

This pair of matching master salts each stands 1 1/4" high and is 2 1/2" in diameter. The pair together are a somewhat weighty 2.5 T. oz. They are round, with three hoof foot legs each, and banded rims. The interiors are finished in a pale gold wash. There are no inscriptions or removals. While the style is 18th or 19th century English, they are American made reproductions, likely dating from the early 20th century. They are marked Sterling and with the number R78, but lack a maker's name. The quality is excellent, as is the condition. There are no dings or dents. The finishes are nicely patinated.
