Gorham Cambridge Immaculate Jelly Trowel

Gorham's Cambridge shares major design elements with Buttercup, save Cambridge has a gadrooned border that Buttercup lacks. This item is a somewhat scarce jelly trowel form. It is 8 1/8" long, and weighty. It is also in immaculate condition. There is no monogram or removal. The blade retains its original gold wash without any loss of color. The pattern is crisp and the finish is lustrous. Marks are lion, anchor, G, Sterling, Pat. 1899.
