Frank Smith's scroll is a dense, late Victorian, asymmetrical, leaf and scroll design with a central reserve, which in this case in not monogrammed. The backside is plain. This example is a 6" long, sterling silver sugar spoon. The bowl has a scalloped edges, slightly pointed tip, and grooved shoulders. The condition is excellent. There is no evident polishing wear. The bowl is well-shaped and smooth, save for two nearly imperceptible pinpricks in the base. Marks are the early Frank Smith emblem, and the word Sterling.
