This 13" diameter, 28.2 T. oz., solid sterling silver charger or chop plate was made by Tiffany, likely in the late 1940's. It is stamped with the pattern number 20350 (and 13"), indicating the design was put into production in 1925. It also has the distinctive "M" associated with Louis deBebian Moore, whose tenure was 1947-56, so its actually issue would have been during those years. It has a 1 1/2" wide, rimmed border in a Chippendale style. This is raised 1/2" from the base of the piece, creating a well area. There is a fancy script "BKS" monogram in the center. The piece is in excellent condition overall. There is one shallow indent on the interior surface, near the center where the monogram is. That is visible in the attached pictures. There are surface scratches that have responded well to hand polishing leaving a fine patina intact.
