Gorham Art Nouveau Sterling Match Safe

This art nouveau floral design match safe or vesta appears in Gorham's 1902 catalog (see image 2). This particular item also bears the date symbol for 1902, along with model number B1100, Sterling and the Gorham lion, anchor, G. It measures 2 3/4" x 1 3/8" x 3/8" and is engraved "FWC" in script. The piece is in ideal condition. There are no body dings or dents. The hinge works perfectly, and the finish is outstanding. The line seam at the bottom right corner has lost its solder, but is not separated or bent (see middle right image in attached composite).
