J L Moore (NY) Coin Basket of Flowers Tablespoon

This 8 5/8" long, moderate weight, 1.4 T. oz., example of the basket of flowers motif is by J.L. Moore of NYC and Brooklyn. This design is much more likely to show up on teaspoons than it is on tablespoons, so that lends this piece a bit of distinction. It has a shell back on the bowl and a feathered script "WHC" (?) monogram. The overall condition is very good. The basket of flowers shows some polishing wear, but remains distinct. The bowl has a slight bit of flattening at the tip, but it otherwise well-shaped and free of dings or dents. The maker's stamp, J.L. Moore is fully legible.
