Sterling Arts & Crafts Sugar and Creamer

Fashioned in an arts and crafts manner, this sterling sugar and creamer set is finely made, heavy, and generously proportioned. For all their merit, they are marked only "sterling," so the maker remains unknown. The style or detail may suggest its origins to someone knowledgeable about such things. Both pieces are ovoid, with tapered bodies and plain sides that are banded on the tops and bottoms. The solid handles are the same dimension as the banding. The outside surfaces show subtle planishing marks, while the insides are smooth. The sugar stands 3 1/8" high, has a base that is 3 3/8" by 2 5/8", and is 4 1/2" from handle end to spout tip. It weighs approximately 5.7 T. oz. The creamer is 2 5/8" tall, 5" from handle tip to handle tip, and has a base that is 3 3/4" by 2 7/8". It weighs 6.6 T. oz. There are no monograms or removals. The condition of both pieces is flawless.
