Albert Coles Engraved Coin Silver Youth Set

This three piece, matching coin silver youth set dates to the mid 19th century. Made by New York's Albert Coles, the pattern is engraved on shaped handles, each of which is engraved "Lora." The knife is 7 1/2" long, while the fork and spoon are both 6 1/8". The knife is solid silver, with a blunt-end blade and a surface that is engraved in an ivy design. All three pieces carry Albert Coles' three part pseudo hallmark. The condition is excellent. Of the three pieces, the only one that shows any evident wear is the fork, which has slight rounding of the tines and faint knife cuts on the reverse.
