Schofield Baltimore Rose Sugar Spoon, Decorated Back

Baltimore Rose was made by Schofield Silver (later acquired by Kirk-Stieff) in two versions, plain back and decorated back. This is the decorated back style and is a 6 1/4" long sugar spoon with a plum shaped bowl. It is relatively heavy at 1.3 T. oz., and has a script "L" on the reverse. It is an early piece marked with the Schofield emblem, the word Sterling, and with "Balto. Rose" stamped on the heel of the bowl. It is in excellent condition, with fine pattern detail and a bowl that is free of dings or dents.
