This is a great vintage coffee cup or tea cup and saucer with a black transfer or transferware sailing ship with hand painted mulberry or purple luster decoration. The teacup and saucer was made by Grays pottery, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England in 1934-1961. The cup is 2.5 inches high by 3.75 inches in diameter and the saucer is 5.75 inches in diameter. This is a fabulous antique English knife rest I brought back from England recently. The silver plated knife rest was made 1890-1910 and measures 1.5 inch high by 4 inches long. The knife rest has a daisy at each end, a fluted column bar and leaves on the outside of the ends. The knife rest is in excellent, mint condition. This vintage souvenir horse brass measures 3.25 inches high by 3 inches wide and depicts a rearing bobbed tail horse. Horse brasses were developed in the 17th century to decorate and identify draft horses. This horse brass was made about 1920-1940s. The all over hand engraved bracelet is .25 inch wide and measures 7.5 inches in circumfrence when closed. This is an dainty pair of small victorian hallmarked sterling silver English sugar tongs or sugar nips with spoon ends. This set of small tongs is hallmarked for London, England 1884 with the maker's mark CB and are possible saccharine tongs for the artificial sweetner that was quite popular in the late victorian period until being banned in 1911 as a menace to health. The tongs are 4 inches long and are in excellent condition.
