The sugar tongs measure 6 inches long and are hallmarked for London, England in 1822 which means before Queen Victoria came to the thrown in the Regency period. The sugar tongs have the a gothic script monogram FM on the bow. The sugar tongs have spoon ends and a Georgian design. They are in excellent condition from an historic period. Beau Brummel or Jane Austen would have loved them. The knife rest measures 1.5 inches high by 3.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide, made of EPN silver plated metal and was made in England 1880-1900. The knife rest is in excellent condition. I believe the pattern is called Chatham. The marks or the D for Durgin, Sterling Pat'd and the tongs date 1900-1920. The box has a gothic engraved initial C, I think. The tongs measure 3.75 inches long and would add elegance to any tea table.
