This is an absolutely beautiful Shelley China, England cup, saucer and plate or teacup trio in the an unamed pattern number 10801 with roses, beads and lines and the Milton shape. The Milton shape is rarely seen and is a variation of the Gainsborough with a wider base above the foot and was made 1915-1925. The cup is 2.25 inch high, the saucer is 5.75 in diameter and the plate is 7 in diameter. The set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restorations. This is a very unusual pair of porcelain single cups that have been identified by a technical expert as chemical crucibles made in the 1920-1930s by Royal Worcester, England, then related to Steatite and Porcelain Company, Ltd. Each of the cups measures 1.25 inches high by 1.75 inches in diameter. This is a fabulous reeded ironstone large 4 to 6 cup teapot with a pretty design of a blue floral bouquets on white with gold trim. The teapot was made by Ellgreave, a division of Wood and Sons, Staffordshire England in the 1950s. The teapot measures 9 inches long and is 5.5 inches high and 5.5 inches in diameter. These exquisite bone china candle holders were made in the 1940s by the Crown Staffordshire pottery of Staffordshire, England. The 2 pale yellow candle holders are each adorned with 3 hand made bone china roses. I have seen this done at a factory and talk about labor intensive! This is an antique Staffordshire, England matchstriker and match holder with incorporated tray dating to 1890-1900s. The creamware match striker match holder combo measures 3.5 inches high by 5 inches in diameter and has the remnants of gold trim, most of which is worn off. The match striker match holder is in excellent condition. There are 2 under glaze manufacturing firing cracks on the base which is very normal for this age and material and are not really considered flaws.

This is a wonderful Shelley China of England 10.75 inch in diameter dinner, rack or cabinet plate in the rarely seen England's Charm pattern #13011 in the Gainsborough or Henley shape 1939-1945.
