This is a lovely hand painted over sepia transfer imari teacup trio consisting of cup, saucer and plate made in Staffordshire, England by an unknown manufacturer 1880-1900. Imari became popular with the influence of japanese ceramics at that time. This is an antique pearlware pitcher or jug made in Staffordshire England 1810-1830s in an applied sprigged design of flower baskets with molded beading, and other features in a blue and white design. The Regency period jug or pitcher measures 4.75 inches high by 6.75 inches long by 5 inches in diameter. The jug even has a blue painted line inside around the spout base.
