This is a master open salt, salt dip or salt cellar I brought home from England recently. The salt measure 2 inches high and is 3 inches in diameter. The salt dip is made of pressed turquoise blue in a jagged top crossed zipper and hobnail insert pattern with a star of flower bottom. The salt is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This is an ornate antique spoon holder by McKee Glass Company, USA made in the Fentec pattern from 1894-1914. The oval saw toothed rim spoon holder or bowl measures 1.5 inches high by 8.25 inches long by 4.25 inches wide and is in excellent, mint condition with no chips, cracks or wear. The spoon holder has the mark Pres Cut on the inside which was very difficult to photograph. This EAPG pattern was called poor man's cut glass, and this piece would rival the best! This is an open salt, salt dip or salt cellar made of light green clear glass by Cambridge Glass, USA 1920-1930s in pattern number 400. The salt is an octagonal tub shape with lugged handles to hold a salt spoon with an 8 pointed star base and cut crossing lines and leaves. The salt measures 1.25 inches high by 1.75 in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and is a lovely color. Salts are also used today for tea bag holders and for sauce dishes.
