This is a wonderful antique knife rest I brought home from England recently. The EPNS silver plated knife rest has triangular figural ends in the form of the symbol of the Isle Of man, three booted feet with spurs and measure 2 inches high by 3.5 inches long by 2 inches wide and were made in England 1890-1910. The knife rest has an illegible maker's mark, EPNS and the number 1910. The knife rest ends are going in the opposite direction. This is an antique figural napkin ring by Derby Silver Company, USA in the shape of a chick with a cracked eggshell edged barrel on a wishbone. The barrel is hand engraved Best Wishes and To Georgie. The silver plated napkin ring measures 2.5 inches high by 4 inches long by 2.5 inches wide and features the round coin mark used on napkin rings from Derby from 1873-1898. This is a neat antique knife rest from England. The knife rest is of faceted, cut crystal with a diamond cut handle and hexagonal ends. The condition is good ++ with no cracks or major chips but there are tiny use chips and wear which give it character. It is about 3 inches in length and was made in England in the 1890-1900s. This is a wonderful pair of antique hallmarked English sterling silver sugar tongs in the fiddle pattern. The sugar tongs or nips are hallmarked for London, England 1835 and the maker ABS. This antique English nutcracker dates to the 1890s and measures 5.5 inches long. The cast iron nutcracker is a pliers type nutcracker that is convertible with 2 pierced and toothed oval areas at the top of the handles to grip the nuts. The nutcracker has tapering handles with an embossed floral pattern on the turned rings of each handle. I brought it back recently from England.
