I don't know if you would call the pattern pressed into the bottom of this master salt dish I brought home recently from England a leaf or a star. This is a very old master open salt or salt dip, dating to 1890-1910. It measures 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches by 2.75 inches high. It is in very good condition but it does have a small shallow chip on a bottom corner measuring approximately .75 of an inch. You can only see it if you turn the piece over. Otherwise very good. This is a fabulous vintage porcelain sugar shaker, muffineer or sugar caster made in England 1930-1937 by Barker Brothers, Staffordshire England in a line called Meir Ware. The sugar shaker has a marked EPNS collar and lid and is a gorgeous cobalt blue color on white with a fruit band and gold trim. This is a wonderful British royal commemorative souvenir embossed brass tea caddy made and dated for the 1953 coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of England. The tea caddy measures 5 inches high by 4.5 inches in diameter and bears the initials or cipher of the Queen. This is a vintage souvenir MV Britannic tea strainer from the Cunard White Star Line ocean liner thewas made between 1929-1960. The tea strainer measures 6.5 inches long by 2.25 in diameter and is made of EPNS silver plate with an applied enamel shield with the White Star flag and is in excellent, mint condition. The MV Britannic was built in 1929 and was used as a passenger liner between Southampton and New York from 1929 to her decommissioning in 1960. This is an antique American silver plated figural salt and pepper set or cruet set of 2 birds on base like a branch with flowers, leaves and twigs. The birds figural salt and pepper set was made 1900-1920 by a silver company with the symbol of a star and shield that I can't identify. The base is marked Pat Appl'd For. This is a very pretty antique victorian silver plated EPNS knife rest I brought back from England recently. It has ends like a fancy andiron and a barley twist bar and measures 3 inches long, 1.25 inches high, 2 inches wide. The knife rest dates to 1890-1910 and is in excellent condition. Knife rests were a victorian invention to keep the table cloth clean. It is really pretty and quite collectible. Shipping in the US by USPS Priority insured is $7.60.

This is an E. Radford (H J Wood) of Staffordshire, England hand painted vintage ceramic sugar shaker, muffineer or sugar caster made in the 1930s. The shaker has an art deco design of feathery black and grey leaves and red buds and measures 6.5 inches high. The muffineer or sugar shaker is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Sugar shakers or muffineers were a victorian table item used to shake sugar on muffins (hence the name)pancakes or crumpets at the tea table.

This antique white porcelain pie vent, pie bird or pie funnel was made in the late Victorian or early Edwardian period and dates to the 1890-1910. The pie vent measures 3 inches high by 1.25 inches in diameter and was made in Staffordshire, England and I got it in the Potteries district recently.
