This is an antique victorian era treen or wooden potato masher or large darning mushroom, depending on the treen or antique guide you search. The treen potato masher or darning mushroom measures 7 inches long by 5 inches in diameter, is made of oak (I think), has a turned handle and was made around 1900 in England. This is a great clear crystal master salt that measures 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches by 2 inches high. It dates to about 1900 and I brought it back from England where I bought it at Camden Passage antiques market. It has some small use fleabites on the edges but no chips or cracks. Lovely! This is a rare vintage English silver plated figural knife rest of a racing greyhound with a finely detailed racing muzzle and coat with the number 1 made in England in the 1920s.
