This creamy white stoneware pie vent, pie bird or pie funnel was made in the 1950s and is unmarked but is just like those manufactured at the same time by the Nutbrown company of England. The Nutbrown comapny has been making pie vents in England for 50 years or more. The pie vent was almost certainly made in Staffordshire England and I got it in the Potteries district recently. This is a fabulous antique knife rest I brought home from England recently. The silver plated knife rest has double thistle ends with leaves for support and measure 1.25 inches high by 4.5 inches long and were made in England 1920-1930s. The thistle is the symbol of Scotland and this would be perfect on a tartan tablecloth set for tea with bannocks and marmalade! This is a wonderful antique Regency figural knife rest that I brought back from England recently. The knife rest is silver plated metal and cleaned up very well and has all it's silver plating. The knife rest features 2 upright crested birds that look like cranes or storks or maybe even phoenixes. This is a neat vintage Adams, Tunstall England sugar bowl in dark blue jasper or jasperware dip with an EPNS lid with built in sugar tongs dating to the 1930s. The sugar bowl with tongs is 4 inches high by 4 inches in diameter and features classical designs in white applied jasperware. This is a neat antique pressed glass open salt, salt dip or salt cellar with a cut scalloped and toothed rim I brought home from England recently. This little salt has waffle panels with daisies and 4 feet and was made in the 1920s and measures 1.75 inches high by 2.5 inches in diameter. The open salt, salt dip or salt cellar is in very good condition but does have minor rim chipping and is a great little piece. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $7.90.

This is an antique victorian silver plated knife rest I brought back from England recently. The knife rest has ball ends rather like a satellite and a center bar like a turned banister. The knife rest dates to 1890-1910. The knife rest measures 4.25 inches long and stands 1.75 inches high and could be considered a carving knife rest.
Knife rests were a victorian invention to keep the table cloth clean. It is really cute and quite collectible. Shipping in the US by USPS Priority insured.

This is a vintage souvenir tea strainer from the Cunard White Star Line ocean liner the MS Caronia, known as the Green Goddess because of her coloring and art deco high style. The tea strainer was made between her maiden voyage in 1949 and decommissioning in 1969. This is an antique pedestal boat shape lead crystal crystal master open salt, salt dip or salt cellar I brought back from England recently. It measures 2.375 inches high by 3 inches long by 2 inches wide and was made 1900-1920. The open salt has a toothed rim, diamond shaped base and all over waffle pattern. It has one very small shallow chip on one facet but is otherwise in very good condition with very little wear. I love it!
