Each knife rest measures 3 inches long by 1.5 inches high by 1.75 inches wide. The Knife holder or knife rest has a barley twist bar and andiron ends shaped like a fancy letter A. They are in very good shape but have been used quite a bit and show plating loss, especially to the bar and inside feet of one of the ends. This neat piece of kitchenalia or gadget is overall 6 inches, the handle is 3.5 long and the head is 3.5 wide. The handle, although dirty, has all it's original yellow paint with 2 silver lines. The head is tin and is marked. You push it along the dough and it cuts out 2 biscuits or cookies per pass. Ingenious! The knife rests measure 3 inches long and are 1 inches high and wide and the ends have a maltese cross like shaped end with a fancy barley twist bar. The pair of antique knife holders is in excellent condition and were made in the 1850-1870s and are very decorative as well as practical to keep the tablecloth clean. Rogers Silver Fish Serving Fork Ornate Silver: Sterling: Flatware: Pre 1920   item # 161476 (stock# 5294)  click for details Antiques At Time Was 360-477-4128 $28.00  This is an silver plate ornate fish serving fork made by W.A. Rodgers Silver Co. that measures 8.5 inches long and is marked 1847ROGERSA1 and then a circle symbol. I don't know the name of the pattern. It has a fine script initial T on the back of the finial. It dates from 1900-1920 and is in very good condition. Shipping in the US by USPS first class envelope is $3.50.
