This is a wonderful pair of antique Eastlake victorian design or English Arts and Crafts design brass door knobs made in England 1880-1910. The doorknob set is mounted on a newer shaft and measure 6 inches long. Each door knob is 2.25 inches in diameter and 2 inches long from front to end of ferrule. I brought them home from England recently. This is a souvenir horse brass or pub brass commemorating Queen Victoria's Jubilee in 1897. This horse brass, however is definitely a 1970's copy done for Queen Elizabeth II's silver Jubilee in 1977. This is an artist signed large footed or pedestal enamel on copper bowl by famous mid 20th century designer and artist Sascha Brastoff. The pedestal bowl measures 4.5 inches high by 8 inches in diameter and has a design of slightly raised hand painted metallic gold mushrooms. Sascha Brastoff worked in California, USA from 1953-1973. This antique English nutcracker dates to the 1890s and measures 5.5 inches long. The cast iron nutcracker is a pliers type nutcracker that is convertible with 2 pierced and toothed oval areas at the top of the handles to grip the nuts. This funny looking thing is a vintage English brass toast fork or toasting fork from the 1890-1920 that I brought home recently from England. The toast fork kitchen gadget is 19.5 inches long and features a 3 dimensional finial of a pixie called the Lincoln Imp. It was used (as it's name implies) to toast bread (or crumpets) before the open flame of a fire or even an the bar of an electric fire. They are really quite nostalgic as well as ornamental. This is an antique English pewter art deco figural knife rest in the shape of a squirrel I brought home from England. I cleaned it up because it was grungy and now I love it! The knife rest measures 3.75 inches long by 1 inch wide by 1.5 inch high. The squirrel is sitting up eating an acorn and the bar is his elongated tail. It was made between 1910-1920s. It is in very good condition and certainly a conversation starter and very collectible!
