The ugly cute guy stands (or sits) just under 3 inches tall, is 2.5 inches long to handle back and 2 inches wide. I brought him home from England recently. It stands 9.5 inches high and has skillfully executed geraniums or nasturtiums and leaves in lovely warm colors. It has gold painted ceramic chain links for handles and is in very good ++ condition with no chips and only one small, faint hairline crack under one of the handles. It is motto ware from Torquay, Devon, England although I don't know what factory as it is unmarked. The set dates to 1910-1920s. It is of red clay with blue & geometric slip and glazed over the motto. The cream jug measures 2 7/8 inches high and the motto is Du'ee Be Aisy. The sugar basin measures 3.75 inches in diameter by 2 inches high and the motto reads Du'ee Ave Zum Sugar.
