The cup and saucer set is a traditional cottage design with the name Tiree and the motto A Rolling Stone Gathers No Moss. The cup measures 2.75 inches high and the saucer is 5 inches in diameter. The set dates to 1958-1962. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is a bit of crazing consistent with age. A wonderful set. Delft Tile Delfts Windmill Canal Holland Ceramics: Pre 1930   item # 335105 (stock# 5849)  click for details Antiques At Time Was 360-477-4128 $38.00  This is a lovely 6 inch square blue and white glazed Delft or Delfts pottery tile from Holland. The tile has a motif of a large windmill and house on a canal bank with a circle frame with typical Delft stylized floral motifs. The tile is marked with a logo, Delfts Handpainted Made In Holland, a G in a wreath and the numbers 324 9 2 2. The pitcher or jug is 8 inches high was hand thrown with a sprigged or applied white design of a grapes and grapevine and gothic borders. The pitcher or jug is unmarked but identical to those on The Potteries Dudson website and an identical jug is in the museum in Staffordshire. I bought this in Staffordshire recently. It stands 9.5 inches high and has skillfully executed geraniums or nasturtiums and leaves in lovely warm colors.
