This is a Wedgwood, England antique biscuit barrel or cookie jar of dark blue jasper dip made by 1900-1920s. The shape is #1672 and the classical design is called Sacrifice Figures in applied white jasper. The fittings are silver plate EPNS and the maker is Walker and Hall Sheffield, England. The biscuit barrel measures 5.75 inches high without handle by 5.75 in diameter and is in excellent condition. There is some minor plate wear to the lid. This small plate or pin dish bears the classical design of Cupid As Oracle in white jasper or jasperware applied to pink jasper by Wedgwood, England and measuring 4.5 inches in diameter. The small plate or dish bears all the usual impressed marks, was made in the 1980s and is in excellent, mint condition with no chips or cracks in it's original box. The detail is exquisite.
