This is a Wedgwood, England 1870-1891 antique jasper or jasperware dip biscuit barrel in dark blue with a glazed white interior. The biscuit or cookie jar measures 6 inches high by 5 inches in diameter and has silver plate EPNS fittings, lid, bottom frame and 3 bun feet. The biscuit jar or barrel has the applied white jasper classical motif of Sacrifice Figures and is marked WEDGWOOD on the bottom.
