This is a wonderful antique biscuit barrel or cookie jar made of dark blue jasper dip made by Wedgwood, England 1900-1920s. The shape is #1672 and the classical design is called Sacrifice Figures in applied white jasper. The fittings are silver plate EPNS and the maker is Walker and Hall Sheffield, England. The biscuit barrel measures 5.75 inches high without handle by 5.75 in diameter and is in excellent condition. There is some minor plate wear to the lid. This is a lovely Wedgwood, England blue jasper or jasperware pin dish or plate with applied white high relief profile of Josiah Wedgwood. This 4.5 inch in diameter plate or compotier was given to new members of the Wedgwood Collector's Society in the 1970s. I recently acquired a whole collection of jasperware including this piece. This is a Dudson, England pitcher or jug with pewter lid of blue glazed earthenware with an applied white classical design or cherubs with an oak leaf border made in the 1890s. The victorian pitcher or jug measures 6.5 inches high by 5 inches long by 3.75 inches in diameter and is very like Wedgwood jasperware but with a semi gloss finish.
