This is an antique English knife rest or knife holder with quatrefoil pierced fancy ends and part barley twist bar. The knife rest measures 1.5 inches high by 3.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide, made of EPN silver plated metal and was made in England 1880-1900. The knife rest is in excellent condition. Knife rests were a victorian brilliant idea to decoratively keep your knife off the table and the tablecloth clean. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured.

This is a neat pair of EPNS English silver sugar tongs or sugar nips. The sugar tongs are marked in the inside of the bow but I can't make it out, but they were made in England 1930-1940s and measure 4.5 inches long. This is a silverplate Victorian vesta matchsafe or match holder from England with a beautiful hand engraved flower design on one side. The vestas or match holder (names for a brand of wax coated early matches) measures approximately 2 inches high by 1.5 inches wide. It has a ring attached for hanging on a watch chain or chatelaine. This is a wonderful antique knife rest I brought home from England recently. The EPNS silver plated knife rest has triangular figural ends in the form of the symbol of the Isle Of man, three booted feet with spurs and measure 2 inches high by 3.5 inches long by 2 inches wide and were made in England 1890-1910. The knife rest has an illegible maker's mark, EPNS and the number 1910. The knife rest ends are going in the opposite direction. This is an antique figural napkin ring by Derby Silver Company, USA in the shape of a chick with a cracked eggshell edged barrel on a wishbone. The barrel is hand engraved Best Wishes and To Georgie. The silver plated napkin ring measures 2.5 inches high by 4 inches long by 2.5 inches wide and features the round coin mark used on napkin rings from Derby from 1873-1898. This is a vintage souvenir MV Britannic tea strainer from the Cunard White Star Line ocean liner thewas made between 1929-1960. The tea strainer measures 6.5 inches long by 2.25 in diameter and is made of EPNS silver plate with an applied enamel shield with the White Star flag and is in excellent, mint condition. The MV Britannic was built in 1929 and was used as a passenger liner between Southampton and New York from 1929 to her decommissioning in 1960. It has ends like a fancy andiron and a barley twist bar and measures 3 inches long, 1.25 inches high, 2 inches wide. The knife rest dates to 1890-1910 and is in excellent condition. This lovely and ornate silverplate serving spoon is by the famous Pairpoint Mfg. Co. Pennsylvania, USA and dates from 1880-1900 during the late Victorian era. It measures 6.25 inches long and has a deeply repousse bowl. The handle has a rose on the handle and a shaped finial. It needs to be polished but is in very good condition.
