This is a pair of vintage silver plated sugar tongs made by the famous Elkington and Company, Birmingham England and marked with their date letter for 1930. This is a fabulous and difficult to find antique English victorian open salt, salt dip or salt cellar made of silver plated cast metal dating to 1880-1900. We brought it home from England last trip. The open salt is 1.75 inches high and 2 inches wide and features a shell shape dish supported by a dolphin. The dip was cast in 2 pieces and then assembled. The salt dip is marked 3337 and a W.
