This is a large English hallmarked sterling silver souvenir spoon from Birmingham, England with the hallmarks for Birmingham, 1905 and the maked L and S whom I can't identify. The large sterling silver spoon measures 5.75 inches long. The curved finial is a hand saw pierced crest of the City of Birmingham and the bowl has the embossed Town Hall of Birmingham in the bowl with an embossed foliage border. This necklace with a pendant is a very good likeness of the famous portrait bust of the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, wife of King Tutankhamun of Egypt cast in sterling silver with an 18 inch sterling silver rope chain with roll clasp. The Nefertiti pendant measures .75 inches high and is 3 dimensional and is in excellent condition. This small sterling silver salt spoon measuring 2.4 inches long was made by Wallace Silversmith, USA in the famous Grande Baroque pattern in the 1940-1950s. Salt spoons were made to be used with the individual open salt dishes used with a formal dining service. A cute little piece and very collectible. This is a retro modern mid century crystal and sterling silver dish or bowl that was manufactured by DGH - Dansk Guld Håndværk, a Danish silver manufacturer ala Georg Jensen, Denmark. The dish is marked DGH 925S punched into the underside of the silver framework. The design is loops and grapes and is beautifully done. There is a small chip on the outside rim of the bowl. This is a wonderful pair of antique hallmarked English sterling silver sugar tongs in the fiddle pattern. The sugar tongs or nips are hallmarked for London, England 1835 and the maker ABS. This set of small tongs is hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1900 with the maker's mark JG. Saccharine tongs or small sugar tongs were used for the artificial sweetner that was quite popular in the late victorian period until being banned in 1911 as a menace to health. The spoons have the words sterling with lion, anchor and G and the pat'd date 1899. They have a gold washed bowl and are in excellent condition and measure 4.25 inches long. This is a set of eight elegant vintage matched sterling silver teaspoons or coffee spoons made in 1920-1930s. These sterling teaspoons are 4.5 inches long, are sometimes called demitasse spoons and bear the continental hallmarks of a lion, 935, which is a higher silver grade than sterling silver which is 925, KH, JandCo and a W.
