This is a pair of pre victorian English antique hallmarked sterling silver sugar tongs or sugar nips. The sugar tongs measure 6 inches long and are hallmarked for London, England in 1822 which means before Queen Victoria came to the thrown in the Regency period. The sugar tongs have the a gothic script monogram FM on the bow. The sugar tongs have spoon ends and a Georgian design. They are in excellent condition from an historic period. Beau Brummel or Jane Austen would have loved them.

This is a great pair of sterling silver sugar tongs with claw ends made by Wm.B.Durgin of Concord, New Hampshire USA. I believe the pattern is called Chatham. The marks or the D for Durgin, Sterling Pat'd and the tongs date 1900-1920. The box has a gothic engraved initial C, I think. The tongs measure 3.75 inches long and would add elegance to any tea table.

This is a lovely handmade sterling silver bangle bracelet I brought from England. It measures 2.25 inches in diameter by just under .5 inches wide. It is hand engraved in a lovely floral pattern and the entire bracelet is handmade--nothing machine made. It has a hidden safety clasp closure as well as a safety chain. The bracelet is marked 925 for sterling and was made in the 1940-1950s. Although I bought it in England it is probably continental. This is an absolutely fabulous salad bowl or console bowl in brilliant cut lead crystal made by the Gorham Company of USA with a hallmarked sterling silver beaded rim. The bowl measures 9 inches in diamteter by 4 inches high and is fabulous! The hallmarks are the Gorham marks of G lion anchor S2806 followed by the trident. This is a wonderful marked sterling silver and 9 kt gold pocket watch fob or medal awarded in 1922 that I brought home recently from England but was probably made in the USA weighing 2.6 dwt or pennyweight. The watch chain ornament was awarded for an unknown sport. The inscription on the reverse is C & D C. A. Div. 3A 1922 A.E.I.
