This is a pair of pre victorian English antique hallmarked sterling silver sugar tongs or sugar nips. The sugar tongs measure 6 inches long and are hallmarked for London, England in 1822 which means before Queen Victoria came to the thrown in the Regency period. The sugar tongs have the a gothic script monogram FM on the bow. The sugar tongs have spoon ends and a Georgian design. They are in excellent condition from an historic period. Beau Brummel or Jane Austen would have loved them.

This is a great pair of sterling silver sugar tongs with claw ends made by Wm.B.Durgin of Concord, New Hampshire USA. I believe the pattern is called Chatham. The marks or the D for Durgin, Sterling Pat'd and the tongs date 1900-1920. The box has a gothic engraved initial C, I think. The tongs measure 3.75 inches long and would add elegance to any tea table.

This is a wonderful pair of antique hallmarked English sterling silver sugar tongs in the fiddle pattern. The sugar tongs or nips are hallmarked for London, England 1835 and the maker ABS. This is a watch fob medal hallmarked for Dublin, Ireland 1948 and maker J. T. made of hand engraved hallmarked sterling silver and a gold filled applied shield. The watch fobs or medals were awarded and are engraved on the back Offaly Waltz Competition 1948 1st. This is a wonderful marked sterling silver and 9 kt gold pocket watch fob or medal awarded in 1922 that I brought home recently from England but was probably made in the USA weighing 2.6 dwt or pennyweight. The watch chain ornament was awarded for an unknown sport. The inscription on the reverse is C & D C. A. Div. 3A 1922 A.E.I. This is an antique English Edwardian perfume bottle or vanity bottle with a hallmarked sterling silver screw lid that I brought home from England. The English hallmarks are for the famous London firm of Chas and Geo Asprey, the date mark for 1907 with the sterling lion rampant. The hallmarked sterling silver and all over heavily embellished hand chased repousse castle design has a different scene each side and is marked with the lion for sterling, head, date letter for 1835 and the anchor for Birmingham.
