Sterling Silver Knife Sharpener Art Nouveau Lily Design

This skillfully crafted sterling silver handled ornate art nouveau knife sharpener was made in England or the USA between 1880-1900. It has a 6 sided sharpening blade made of steel that was made in Germany but the handle was made in England. The entire piece measures 9.6 inches long with the sterling silver handle measuring 3.6 inches long. The lillies that the handle are made up of are absolutely beautiful and finely crafted. The handle is marked with the a W, a lion, sterling and Pat. Applied For. There is some nicking on the blade from use but very little. The handle which is engraved deG is in excellent condition.
