This is a very unusual pair of porcelain single cups that have been identified by a technical expert as chemical crucibles made in the 1920-1930s by Royal Worcester, England, then related to Steatite and Porcelain Company, Ltd. Each of the cups measures 1.25 inches high by 1.75 inches in diameter. I originally had them listed as eggcups, as that was the suggection of the Worcester expert on the British Antique Ceramics website, and they could be used as such! The mark was used only on scientific ceramics. Very fun and unusual. In very good condition with no chips or cracks to the fine porcelain. The bottoms are unglazed. The glaze was affected when the name stamp was added during manufacturing. Neat! Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $8.90.
