Flower Vase Bone China Flower China Paperweight Posy

This is a pretty Staffordshire, England bone china paperweight, posy or ornament that is a hand made bouquet of 3 roses. It is rare to find older pieces in such good condition! This piece was made in the 1970s and measures 3.5 inches high by 2.5 inches square and features a light pink, a dark pink and a pale yellow rose in a white reeded pedestal urn. There are also green leaves. We watched craftsman making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these arrangements by hand from a lump of clay.
