Pincushion Figural Shoe Oxford Shoe Silver Plate

This is a neat pincushion in the shape of a lace up oxford shoe made of silver plated cast iron in the 1950s. The pin cushion shoe measures 4.5 inches long by 1.25 inches wide by 2 inches high. It has an inset of velvet. The shoe says Made In Japan on the sole and has japanese characters on the inside of the heel. It is in very good condition with little plate loss but does have a hole in the heel where it looks to me like someone tried to hammer a nail with it! It's a great sewing collectible.
