This is a fabulous bone china flower handle tea cup and saucer made during the 1940-1950s in England by the Royal Stafford china company of Staffordshire, England. The molded floral handle is unusual and the square set has lovely hand painted violets and gold trim. The design is called Sweet Violets. The cup measures 3 inches high by 3 inches in square, the saucer is 5.5 inches in square. The set is in very good condition with no chips or wear but after I brought it home from England I realized that the handle had been repaired and the repaired break over painted in gold. Absolutely beautiful and so collectible. Shipping in US by USPS priority insured is $9.50.
