This is a beautiful necklace with a charm or pendant of cloisonne enamel on gold metal with roll catch of a cartouche or word capsule with a red scarab or beetle believed in egyptian mythology to push the sun across the sky. The gold metal curb chain is 18 inches long and the pendant or charm is .5 inch wide and 1 inch high. The necklace was made in 1974 for the King Tutankhamun exhibit in San Francisco and was offered for sale at the museum. My family bought museum stock left from the exhibit in 1975. A very attractive piece in excellent condition. Shipping in the US by USPS first class insured is $5.50.
