Royal Winton Grimwades Olde England Cheese Dish Cottage

This is a fabulous hand painted vintage cottage ware Royal Winton Grimwades 2 part cheese dish in their Olde England pattern made of a thatched cottage in a cottage garden. The ceramic cottage was made in the 1930s in Staffordshire, England. The cheese dish base is 7.5 inches by 6 inches and the top is 4.5 inches high by 5.75 long by 4.25 inches wide. The set is in very good condition. The only flaws are 2 small chips on the underneath side of the base and 2 tiny paint flecks on the lid. One is on a corner of the chimney and the other is in the middle front under the thatch overhang. It looks like there is a chip on the thatch between the eaves but that is a spot of reflected light.
