Mappin and Webb Silver Spoons And Sugar Tongs In Box

This is a fabulous vintage set of 4 silver plated EPNS spoons and matching sugar tongs made by Mapping and Webb, Sheffield and London, England 1920-1930s in the original fitted leather covered wooden box. There are only 4 coffee or demitasse spoons but room for 6 so 2 have been lost. The spoons measure 4.5 inches long and have shell shaped reeded bowls, a barley twist handle and fluted finials. The sugar tongs are also 4.5 inches long and are a matching pattern. Although the box shows wear, the spoons and sugar tongs are in excellent, mint condition and show no wear. They are absolutely beautiful and demonstrate why Mappin and Webb are SO collectible. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured.
