Funeral Card Arthur McClary 1891 Momento Mori Mint

This is an antique victorian funeral remembrance card or momento mori for Arthur McClary died May 19, 1891 aged 39 years. These cards were given out at the funeral and kept as a remembrance as well as sent to relatives and friends who couldn't attend the funeral. The card is of black cardboard and measures 6.5 inches high by 4.25 inches wide and is all in gold ink with birds, bible and verse. On the back in faded ink that is really difficult to read is written: Uncle Chet McClary Brother. The card is in excellent condition and these are quite difficult to find.
