Aesthetic Movement Sterling Silver Serving Spoon Large

This is a fabulous sterling silver large serving spoon from the Aesthetic Movement period of Victorian design that dates from 1870-1890. It measures 8.75 inches long and features an ornate molded handle and a hand engraved bowl in a typical Aesthetic Movement design that is referred to as the Arts and Crafts period in England. It can't make out the manufacturers mark but can read the sterling. It is a beautiful piece and just needs a bit of polish. It was black when we got it and has already had a few hours of elbow grease. An absolutely beautiful piece that would add to elegance to stuffing or potatoes.
