This is a Royal Winton, England unusual teapot made in the early 1930s just before their famous partnership with Grimwades began, in the Imari style so popular in the art deco era because of an interest in earlier Japanese styles and colors. The Ivory Ware line hand painted teapot measures 5.5 inches high by 8.5 inches long by 6 inches in diameter. The teapot has gold trim and is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks and very minor gold wear. It's a beautiful piece and very rare as few were made. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured.
