Phoenix Figural Knife Rest Antique English Twist Bar

This is an antique English figural knife rest or knife holder with the ends being the mythical Phoenix bird rising from the flames with a barley twist bar. The knife rest measures 1 inch high by 4 inches long by 1.5 inches wide, made of EPNS silver plated metal and was made in England 1880-1900. The figural birds or Phoenix knife rest is in excellent condition but could use a bit of polish. A very rare and exceptional find.
