Shelley Apricot Summer Glory Chintz Cup And Saucer

This is a very unusual color Shelley China, England cup and saucer. The cup interior is in the Summer Glory Chintz pattern but in a pale apricot or pale peach background that matches the cup exterior and the saucer, a color which is extremely difficult to photograph successfully, as the interior shows up as yellow, which it is not. The cup and saucer is in the Gainsborough shape and is pattern number 13648 and was made 1940-1966. The cup is 2.65 inches high, the saucer is 5.5 in diameter and the cup and saucer are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. Very pretty as well as unusual.
