Beautiful Georgian gold mourning brooch, circa 1815. When I purchased this item, I was told it tested as 15k gold. Beautiful seed pearls and jet surround teardrop shape glass with white hair in it.Also, one of the seed pearls had been replaced and the fastener has some small bends. Measures approximately 1" by 3/4". All in all, a gorgeous and rare early piece of jewelry.
