STERLING TONGS. THOMAS WALKER, circa 1780

Cast pierced sterling tongs, Thomas Walker I, London, circa 1780, arcaded/pierced arms with feather design, shell tips, impressed "TW" in rectangle, block letter "D" beside it, sterling standard lion in rectangle, arms approximately 1 1/4" wide, approximately 5 5/8" in length. Monogram "JMP" in feather script. Excellent estate condition. Wear consistent with age and use.
