This is a Machwitz Kaffee (coffee) tin. It measures 3 6/8" long by 2 7/8" wide by 2" high. This little German tin was made in the 1930's. As you can see by the pics it is in used condition. The hinges are in very good working order.
This is a very nice Soapstone Swan display dish carved and scrimshawed by artisans from Kenya, Africa. Measures 8" long by 4" wide and is 1 1/4" high. There is a small chip on the very end of the dish which could easily be remedied by a little dab of black paint. This is for decoration only.
This platter is made from Kisii soapstone and handpainted with maasai figures and giraffes. It measures 9" X 14". Towards the bottom of the platter there appears to be a crack but it doesn't show on the back at all.(see pic) This is a decorative item only. Excuse the kitty tail!!!!!!!!!
This is a terrific niddy noddy. It is held together on both ends by two tiny wood pegs - one is missing, but the piece is still very stable. This tool was used in making skeins of yarn. The spindle is 18" long and the short ends are 14". There is a 4 1/2" crack where it is joined on one end.
Set of five vintage shot glasses in shades of cobalt blue,green, smokey grey,amber and light blue. circa pre 1960. No chips, cracks or defects.
This is a set of three Pyrex mixing bowls. Large white bowl is 2 1/2 Qt. Medium bowl is 1 1/2 Qt and the little one is 1 1/2 pint. Any scratches are very minor. These bowls were made in the 1960's. There is a black mark above the eagles wing on the large white bowl. They look like scuff marks to me.
This item is a Wearever cast aluminum cornstick pan.It is marked No. 2797, Wearever Aluminum Trademark, Taco, Co., Made in U.S.A. Age is between 1920's and 1940's. Demensions are 13" long by 5 5/8" wide.
This is a pair of antique H.K.Porter bolt cutters in working condition. I did oil the tool just to make sure everything worked. There is some surface rust and some of the original black finish is gone. Otherwise I feel it is in very good condition. Cast into one side of the handles is Pat. Oct 18.92, Trademark HKP. On the head it says Everett, Mass.USA. On the other side it says Porter's "New Easy", Size No. 0. For 5-16 inch bolts. The cutters measure 1" X 5 1/4" X 19"
Here is a wonderful painting of a mare and her foal watching as two stallions battle it out for dominance. The painting is signed Hazel Goske? Not sure of the last name. The size of the painting is 14" by 17 1/4".The frame is 17" by 20" and needs repair.The price is for both painting and frame.
This sweater clip is sterling and marked WR S/S. The design is a pierced metal design with blue emerald cut rhinestones and clear brilliant chaten accents. The larger of the two measures 1 1/2 by 1 5/8, the smaller is 1 5/8 by 1 1/4. It is in excellent condition.
This item is a sterling mounted cabachon shaped pin made with a butterfly wing. It is marked ILM Sterling England. The dimensions are 1 1/2" long by 3/4" wide.
This is a very large silver plated platter measuring 22" by 10". It is marked Reed & Barton, #100 on it and is in the form a large fish. It is in very good condition.
Here's a really nice picture of a Lamborghini. The picture itself measures 12" by 16". The name sparkles as does sections of the car. On the back of the frame it says SKU 40564
Here is an Antique Victorian Sheffield Staghorn carving set c. 1900. Used condition with original box. The box measures 17" long by 6 1/2" wide by 2" high. The knife measures 15 1/2" long and says Made in Sheffield England, stainless steel, double ground. I cannot make out the other words. The fork measures 12" and the sharpener is 14 1/4". The material in the box is stained. Very attractive set with the elk medallions on each utensil.
This is a very nice stoneware jug incised G.S. Guy & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y. and it is a 2 gallon. It does have some issues. On one side the glazing is chipping off. Please see pics for damage. If you wish to see more pics please e-mail me.
Here is a very pretty pill box. I am not sure of the maker, it could be Bircraft. It appears to me to be brass plated and measures 1 1/2" in diameter. The rose is a very deep red, not as light as in the pics.
Here is a large butter churn or washing machine, I am still not completely sure. Barrel in the frame measures 42" high.The barrel itself is 29" high by 23 1/2" in diameter.It has a hook to keep it still or you can unhook it to move it back and forth. It's painted with old blue paint. There is no makers name on it and I do not have the handle that goes with it. THIS IS A PICKUP ITEM ONLY.
This is a real nice tool. It says "THE BRIDGEPORT HDWE. MFG.CO NO. 120 MADE IN U.S.A. BRIDGEPORT CONN. The name is a little difficult to read, but the number is very clear as is where it was made. It has been recently sharpened. It just needs a little cleaning up.
