Modernist Hammered Silver Pendant/Pin with Amethyst

This interesting pendant/pin looks handwrought and one-of-a-kind to me. It features two interlocked units--one textured with lines and the other which shows hammer marks which look like they could be the initials JU but are abstract enough to be worn by anyone. Pendant is bezel-set with rectangular violet colored faceted stone--I believe this is an amethyst. Marked with Very tiny number 82 on side of bale. The line-textured unit has a few bends--see photo. 2” x 1 3/4”
