This is an amazing bracelet with a style that combines machine age streamlining and an almost primitive shape. It is an early piece by Robin Kahn, who went on to establish a career producing more commercial jewelry. I believe that this piece is pewter--it takes a nice shine and though it looks like it, it is too heavy to be aluminum. This great piece is large and impressive enough to be worn by men or women. Inner dimension: 2 5/8” across by 2” deep with a 1 1/4” opening--very rigid. Outer dimension is 4” x 3”. Signed with maker’s mark ROBIN KAHN on inside. Good vintage condition with a couple of dings--see photos.
