This pendant dates to the art deco era--late 1920s-1930s, when after the discovery of the tomb of King Tut, Egyptian motifs were all the rage. Pendant is made of speckled green catalin plastic, a type of bakelite, with a molded brass Pharoah’s head (perhaps meant to be Tut) accented with red and gold “egyptian” decoration. Comes with very nice and heavy brass link chain.

Condition: Wear to painted decoration, pitting and scratches on front bottom, mainly visible in raking light.
Size: Pendant is @ 2” x 1 1/4”, chain is 18” long.
