This vintage Victorian trade card shows a little boy holding onto a flower bouquet, on the bottom it reads May every Joy be Thine. The back shows a pastoral winter scene with a weather vane reading To Give You Greeting. This type of card was usually given out in the trade card retail store. Measuring 3 1/2 x 7 inches in very good condition. Ca. 1895 early 1900's Shipping $2.00. Thanks for stopping in.

Victorian trade cards include The Red Cross BEE cast iron stove with a picture of the stove on the back. Niagara Corn Starch with a little gal all dressed up in her Victorian ruffles and J.N. Cloyes for Fine Shoes with another Victorian lady dressed in furs and long ruffled gown. The back of this last card reads This celebrated and well know line of J.N. In years gone by the only form of paper advertising by shop owners was the colorful trading cards. These two soap cards are from the late 1890's or early 1900's. One reads Gowans & Stover U.G. soap with advertising on the back and a date of 188? Bay City Michi. John M. Kelton & Co. Dealers in groceries, provisions, dry good.
