I am refering to this bottle as a lay down ladies flask to hold liquor but again maybe it is a perfume bottle. Floral painted over porcelain with a metal top. The push on metal has cork way up in the top. Around the edge of the top is Germany.

Vintage aluminum Hiawatha Glove Box. For your consideration is this aluminum glove box with the words in scroll Hiawatha.
Measuring 11 inches long 3 1/2 inches wide and 2 /4 inches deep. The aluminum top appears to have a checker board pattern, being lighter and darker in squares.

For your compact collection I have a small 2 inch by 2 inch black enamel compact with a picture of the U.S. Capitol with pink cherry blossoms in bloom. The front reads Washington, D.C. U.S. Capitol. A mirror inside but the powder is gone, I believe it used loose powder. Nice condition. Thanks for stopping in.
Empty of contents this celluloid jar once held either face or body powder. On the top is a silhouette in black of a lady and man . Measuring 4 1/2 inches. The inside looks like gold paint was applied.In good condition with no chips or cracks. Nice addition to the collector of celluloid vanity pieces.
Ca. 1940's this pretty very good condition porcelain hair receiver reads on the bottom hand painted Nippon. No chips or cracks.
When the lady would brush her hair the hair left in the hair brush would be put in these hair receivers. The owners would make jewelry, fancy pictures with the hair.

This beautiful vintage powder jar was created by Lucien Lelong as the front of the glass jar reads. The front reads Lucien Lelong Face Powder. All glass with a light beige color enameled scroll work design that covers the top and bottom. The top has a stylized square influenced by the art deco era. What a very nice porcelain trinket or jewelry box in very good condition. Measuring 4 inches wide, 4 3/4 inches long and 3 inches high. The porcelain roses are in relief with no chips or cracks some light crazing. Pale pink with gold trim around the edge. The bottom still has the red sticker reading Lefton's. exclusives Japan.
