Colorful Majolica Fish Pitcher

An excellent example of Majolica pottery. This Majolica fish pitcher stands a tall 8 inches. Its colors are mostly blues, browns and aqua. The fishes scales are mostly in deep blue greens with the front being in off white. An open mouth for pouring out the liquid with the tail being the handle. Some crazing shows up on the front area and a couple pops of paint the rest in very good condition. A spot of brown paint on the bottom of the pitcher I believe is the makers mark. A nice piece for the collector of older Majolica pottery.
